SALLY NUGENTSports Presenters - BBC News Presenters

Sally Nugent is currently BBC Breakfast's sports presenter. She also occasionally stands in as the main presenter of the programme.

Sally was previously a sports presenter for the BBC News Channel, taking over from Chris Hollins on Breakfast in 2012. She has also worked as a news correspondent across the BBC's outlets, as well as acting as a regular news presenter for the BBC News channel. She began her career reading the sports news on regional programme North West Tonight. Sally travelled to Germany in 2006 to anchor the channel's coverage of the FIFA World Cup, and performed the same role in South Africa in 2010.

MIKE BUSHELLMike Bushell

Mike Bushell presents the sport on BBC Breakfast on Fridays and Saturdays, as well as filling in for Sally Nugent during the week. He also presents an ongoing series of reports on unusual sports on Saturday editions of Breakfast.

Mike joined BBC News in 1997, and was one of the first faces on the channel following its launch. He started out as an actor and was the lead singer in a band before switching to journalism, initially working for the Hampshire Chronicle newspaper in Winchester. His first broadcasting job was as a trainee reporter at BBC Radio Solent in 1990. He then moved into television with BBC South Today, before beginning to present on BBC News and BBC World News.

Mike is married with three children.

OLLY FOSTERSports Presenters - BBC News Presenters

Olly Foster is currently one of the main sports presenters on the BBC News Channel, and was one of the few presenters to move from London to Salford in 2012.

Olly has been with the BBC since 2001, and was previously a Sports News correspondent, reporting across the BBCs outlets. Prior to this he spent five years at Sky News and also appeared as a football reporter on Capital Radio.


DAMIAN JOHNSONSports Presenters - BBC News Presenters

Damian Johnson is currently one of the main sports presenters on the BBC News Channel, having joined when the BBC Sports centre moved to Salford in 2012. He is also a regular reporter on the BBC's Football coverage, appearing on Football Focus and Final Score.

Damian joined the BBC in 1989, working as a producer for Look North. He then became their sports presenter in 1994, before joining BBC Sport in 1998. Since then Damian has covered three World Cup tournaments, as well as appearing on sports magazine programme 110%.

JENNY CULSHAWSports Presenters - BBC News Presenters

Jenny Culshaw is one of the main sports presenters on the BBC News Channel, having joined when the BBC Sports centre moved to Salford in 2012. She also appears on BBC Radio Five Live.

Jenny initially worked behind the camera, working as a Senior Producer on BBC Two's Business programme Working Lunch until 2010. She also occasionally reported for the programme. Jenny then became the business presenter for the Tony Livesley programme on BBC Radio Five Live, as well as sometimes reading the business news on the the news channel.She also presented Your Money.

KATIE GORNALLKatie Gornall

Katie Gornall is one of the main sports presenters on the BBC News Channel, having joined when the BBC Sports centre moved to Salford in 2012.

Katie was previously with the BBC's Look North, where she worked both as a sports correspondent and presenter. Since joining BBC Sport she has also stood in for Sally Nugent on BBC Breakfast.



LIZZIE GREENWOOD-HUGHESLizzie Greenwood-Hughes

Lizzie Greenwood-Hughes is a sports presenters for the BBC News Channel. She also works for BBC Sport.

Lizzie started her career as a floor manager with the BBC in 1995. After a period doing various jobs within the television industry she arrived at CBBC, where she was a presenter and reporter on the children's news programme Newsround between 2001 and 2008.

Since leaving Newsround, she has worked as a member of the BBC team covering both the 2008 Paralympics and the 2010 Winter Olympics, as well as covering equestrian events for BBC Radio Five Live. She also joined BBC South Today as a reporter in 2009, and presented the interactive segment of The Football League Show until the start of the 2011/12 season.

KARTHI GNANASEGARAMKarthi Gnanasegaram

Karthi Gnanasegaram is a sports presenters for BBC World News and the BBC News channel. Since the move to Salford she has been one of the most regular presenters of the sports update on the BBC One Weekend Bulletins.

Karthi began her career as a freelance sports presenter for Five News and a reporter on the BBC's Liquid News. She then went on to present the sport for BBC London, as well as appearing on Grandstand and Five Live. She has also worked for Al Jazeera and Sky News as a sports presenter, first appearing on the BBC News channel in 2011.


ANDREW LINDSAYAndrew Lindsay

Andrew Lindsay is a regular sports presenters for the BBC News channel and BBC World.

Andrew joined the BBC Sport team in 2012 when the updates moved to Salford. Previously he had worked for ITV, where he had been a sports reporter for Granada Reports since 2003.



KATHERINE DOWNESKatherine Downes

Kartherine Downes is a regular sports presenter for the BBC News channel. She has also appeared on BBC Breakfast on Sundays.

Katherine joined the BBC Sport team in 2012 when the bulletins moved to Salford. She had previously worked as a reporter and occasional presenter on BBC South East Today, as well as reporting on a variety of news stories as a correspondent for BBC Breakfast and the BBC News channel during 2011.


ORE ODUBASports Presenters - BBC News Presenters

Ore Oduba is the main presenter of CBBC's Newsround. He occasionally presents sports updates for the news channel.

Ore joined Newsround in 2008, initially working as a reporter and presenter of the breakfast updates. He became the main presenter in 2010. He also presents Match of the Day Kickabout, a sports programme on CBBC, having previously worked on the programme's forerunner Sportsround. He has also read the sport on BBC Radio Five Live.



JACQUI OATLEYSports Presenters - BBC News Presenters

Jacqui Oatley works as a sports reporter and commentator for BBC Radio Five Live, Final Score and Football Focus. She also occasionally presents the sports updates on the BBC News channel.

Jacqui is best known for being the first female commentator on Match of the Day, making her debut in 2007. She joined the BBC as a ports reporter for BBC Radio Leeds, before moving to the West Midlands as a news reporter. Jacqui later returned to sports reporting for BBC London, before joining Radio Five Live as a commentator in 2003.


RESHMIN CHOWDHURYReshmin Chowdhury

Reshmin Chowdhury has been with the BBC since 2010, working as an occasional sports presenter for BBC World and BBC News.

Reshmin previously worked as a reporter for Real Madrid TV. She has also appeared as a reporter for BBC London News and ITN.




AMELIA HARRIS-LINDSAYAmelia Harris

Amelia is one of the main sports presenters for BBC World News. She also appears on the BBC News channel and on BBC Breakfast at the weekend.

Amelia joined the BBC in 2007. She had previously worked as a sports presenter for Manchester's local television station, Channel M.


JOHN WATSONJohn Watson

John is a regular sports presenter for the BBC News channel and BBC World News, appearing throughout the week.

John has been with the sports team in Salford since 2012. Prior to this he had worked for children's news programme Newsround, which is also based in Salford.


WILL PERRYWill Perry

Will primarily works for BBC Radio Five Live, but has also presented bulletins on the BBC News channel since 2013.

Will also reports for the BBC's Final Score.
